Welcome
to Rose Cottage, self catering accommodation in
the Exmoor National Park. Sleeps 1-8
This is a spacious and attractive 18th century cottage
set in a large enclosed, south facing garden with
splendid views over fields to the nearby moor.
It is on the edge of the small village of Wootton
Courtenay, which is surrounded by some of the
loveliest scenery in the West Country, situated
in the Exmoor National Park at the head of Porlock
Vale and close to romantic Lorna Doone country.
There are any number of beautiful walks from the
cottage - short or long, according to taste, or
you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden
and the comfort of the cottage itself.
The sea is 4 miles away at Minehead, Porlock or
Dunster Beach. Dunkery Beacon, the highest point
on Exmoor is 3 miles away and the pretty town of
Dunster with its castle, shops and restaurants is
also nearby.
This is our own holiday home,
which we are unable to use as much as we would wish.
We have furnished it to provide modern comfort and convenience.
There is parking space for up to four cars.
